I’m not really the type to leave a review (I think this is like the fourth review I’ve ever done) but the experience at Lou’s was so exemplary, I wanted to encourage others to do the same. Buying a car can be so fraught and confusing. We have purchased our family cars from craigslist in the past just to avoid the hassle of anxiety-inducing, over-eager (or downright dishonest) salesman and the price gouging that often occurs at dealerships. From the very beginning, Lou was utterly kind, welcoming, patient, professional and prepared - no detail was overlooked. He went miles above and beyond what I ever expected in a car buying experience - dare I say it was actually enjoyable? In the first draft of this review I started to write some of the many ways that he exceeded our expectations, but the review was beginning to turn into a novel so I had to do some editing. For those looking for a great value, look no further than Lou’s. Not only was the price better than anywhere else we’d seen, the car was in better shape (they immaculately detailed it inside and out TWICE) and had been through more rigorous evaluations in their service department than you would find at any dealership (and certainly any private sale). It was obvious to us that this family business places a much higher value on their place in the community and having happy customers than making a quick buck. Just look at all the other positive reviews (I know we did prior to checking them out).
